Hi folks!  Sorry for the long absence--I fell and managed to break both my wrist and right hand, badly enough to require surgery.  For the record, I do NOT recommend breaking your dominant hand; the point and peck typing method sucks beyond all belief.  (PT is equally horrific, for the record.)  If anyone still wants AO3 invites, please drop me a line with an email address in it, and I'll get those out ASAP.

Okay, so this morning it came to my attention that [livejournal.com profile] neko_fujoshi had copied my fic, Of Hunters and Tricksters, and reposted the entire story on her LJ.  In fairness, she kept my original headings, so it is clear that I wrote the thing and she even indicated that it was originally posted here.  That said, I was not asked for permission before aforementioned reposting happened.  I have contacted her and asked her to remove my story immediately; hopefully she does.  For those of you in the Sabriel fandom, it does appear I'm not the first this has happened to; I strongly recommend checking out her LJ and making sure the same hasn't happened to you. [livejournal.com profile] gedry and, [livejournal.com profile] littlehollyleaf, she's done the same to you, although I've no idea if she at least asked your permission first; she certainly didn't ask me.  Personally, I am not a happy camper about this.

So, to clarify:  I have absolutely no problem if you want to save a copy of my fic for your own personal use.  Some of it's up on my AO3 account, and eventually the rest will migrate over there; you're entirely welcome to download a copy in your preferred format.  I don't mind links, and I adore anyone who likes my work enough to rec me.  If you think I should post something elsewhere, drop me a PM; I'll be immensely thrilled and I'll probably say yes.  If you want to translate or podfic, again, I'll be thrilled beyond words and almost certainly say yes, as long as you ask me first.

I DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, condone copying my work and reposting it elsewhere without my explicit permission.  I don't care if the copier gives me full credit; this is my work, and I have multiple accounts of my own on which to post.  Posting my fic elsewhere without my permission is stealing, every bit as much as if it was outright plagiarized.   If you're confused, or you have any questions on this, ASK.  I promise, I don't bite.
