In response to your posting related trouble. I usually have the same problem. What I do, which is a bit redundant, is that I copy the entire text into an existing document on Fanfiction.net, save, click the HTML button and then simply copy the html-coded text into LJ. Takes a bit of fiddling, but it's easier in the end.
